Dalchinii is an online world grocery store based in Switzerland offering a variety of grocery products with a focus on Indian, Asian, and Global cuisines. The client wanted an online platform to be created from scratch for easy access to rich groceries and ready-to-eat meals for multicultural communities living in Switzerland.
The designers used a warm and inviting color palette – inspired by the traditional spice markets. High-quality images helped a lot in emphasizing and giving a clear picture of the product(s). A header and a clear menu allowed users to quickly browse the different categories of the products and filters for dietary purposes as well.
The team of developers carried out the development using Shopify as the platform, which focused on creating a smooth and intuitive online shopping experience that could handle complex inventory and multilingual content. Overall, the development was centered on security, speed, and scalability to support every type of user who is visiting the website.
